Brian Brownlee

Brian has been involved in international education as a teacher, teacher trainer, manager, sales director and managing director for over 35 years. He has lived and worked in many different parts of the world and has been the owner of Anglo European since 2002. Brian manages The Anglo European School of English and Anglo European Juniors on a day-to-day basis and, in addition to overseeing the development strategy of the company, he is actively involved in sales and marketing, carrying out sales trips and attending educational fairs. Christopher Tickell

Director of Junior Courses

Chris joined the summer camps team in 2005 as an Activity Organiser in Southampton after living overseas in countries such as Egypt, Holland and Russia. He worked in a number of summer camps before becoming operations manager in 2010. His current role with the school is Director of Junior Courses overseeing the smooth running and preparation of all our junior sites. In particular he focuses on the Activities and Excursions side of the programmes to make them fun and interactive for the students. Away from work you will often find Chris in the gym or on the sports field, watching rugby, travelling and enjoying evenings out!Image of Chris
Janice Tang

Janice has worked at Anglo European since 2008, and is currently the Administration Manager. Among her duties she is responsible with the rest of the team for all aspects of course bookings, dealing with agents, especially for the Junior Summer camps. Janice is a graduate of Hong Kong Baptist University, she moved from Hong Kong in 2002 to live in Bournemouth. She speaks Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Jeanette Mitchell

Welfare and Accommodation Officer

Jeanette has a background in finance and worked for a major bank and in foreign exchange before joining Anglo European 7 years ago as the Accommodation & Welfare Officer. Jeanette’s job involves inspecting families who wish to be homestays, placing students in appropriate families according to their requirements and dealing with any welfare issues which may arise. She is also one of the school’s First Aiders. Outside of school Jeanette enjoys running, reading, walking and spending time with her family.Image of Jeanette
Jessica Falcon
(Speaks Spanish and Swedish)

Receptionist & Bookings Assistant

Jessica is half Swedish and half Spanish and speaks both languages fluently as well as English. She has lived in Bournemouth for the last four and a half years having grown up in Sweden and then living in Spain. She has, most recently, worked as an administrator for the RNLI and before that held several roles in the tourism and leisure industry. Jessica enjoys learning about different cultures and languages. In her free tim she likes spending time with her family, walking and socialising with her friends.

Roland Martin

Before joining Anglo European in Bournemouth Roland was already our longest-serving Centre Manager for junior courses having managed our centres in Cheltenham, Kingston and Nottingham. Roland has been involved in English language teaching and management for the last ten years. During this time he has lived in Poland, The Czech Republic, Taiwan and Spain and spent over five years in Greece. When not at work, Roland likes to read, run, travel and socialize with friends.
