bbrownlee@angloeuropean.org | Brian has been involved in international education as a teacher, teacher trainer, manager, sales director and managing director for over 35 years. He has lived and worked in many different parts of the world and has been the owner of Anglo European since 2002. Brian manages The Anglo European School of English and Anglo European Juniors on a day-to-day basis and, in addition to overseeing the development strategy of the company, he is actively involved in sales and marketing, carrying out sales trips and attending educational fairs. When he is not at work, Brian enjoys piloting light planes! |  |
Simon Hayward

shayward@angloeuropean.org | Simon started teaching in 1991 when he moved to Japan for 5 years. He returned to the UK and taught in the south of England while studying for his Diploma in TEFL. Since then he has had various academic positions from English Teacher to Director of Studies and Director of Junior Courses. He is now Director of Courses here and has a wealth of experience in both adult and junior programmes. When not working he is normally on holiday, travelling through South America or South East Asia. He’s interested in languages, writing travel blogs and cycling. |  |
Victoria Boobyer
Academic Manager
vboobyer@angloeuropean.org | Victoria began her TEFL teaching career in Greece where she taught for two years in Kalamata. She then moved to Asia and taught in both Korea and then Vietnam for another two years. Following her return to the UK, as well as teaching, she managed a number of residential summer school courses. Victoria is currently working at Anglo European School of English and her role as Academic Manager means that she assists Simon Hayward with any academic matters that arise. She is very interested in using technology to help students learn English and at Anglo European we now have a number of iPads for use in class. Away from school, you’ll find Victoria working with educational projects – such as www.eltpics.com – but also riding motorbikes, hiking, playing the ukulele (badly) and enjoying good food! |  |
Jeanette Mitchell
Welfare and Accommodation Officer
jmitchell@angloeuropean.org | Jeanette has a background in finance and worked for a major bank and in foreign exchange before joining Anglo European 7 years ago as the Accommodation & Welfare Officer. Jeanette’s job involves inspecting families who wish to be homestays, placing students in appropriate families according to their requirements and dealing with any welfare issues which may arise. She is also one of the school’s First Aiders. Outside of school Jeanette enjoys running, reading, walking and spending time with her family. |  |
Christopher Tickell
Director of Junior Courses
ctickell@angloeuropean.org | Chris joined the summer camps team in 2005 as an Activity Organiser in Southampton after living overseas in countries such as Egypt, Holland and Russia. He worked in a number of summer camps before becoming operations manager in 2010. His current role with the school is Director of Junior Courses overseeing the smooth running and preparation of all our junior sites. In particular he focuses on the Activities and Excursions side of the programmes to make them fun and interactive for the students. Away from work you will often find Chris in the gym or on the sports field, watching rugby, travelling and enjoying evenings out! |  |
Janice Tang

Administration Manager
jtang@angloeuropean.org | Janice has worked at Anglo European since 2008, and is currently the Administration Manager. Among her duties she is responsible with the rest of the team for all aspects of course bookings, dealing with agents, especially for the Junior Summer camps. Janice is a graduate of Hong Kong Baptist University, she moved from Hong Kong in 2002 to live in Bournemouth. She speaks Cantonese, English and Mandarin. She enjoys reading, cycling and travelling. |  |
